Recycling Opportunities
Don’t throw those old clothes, linens, purses and belts, stuffed animals or shoes away!
We will recycle and generate additional income that can be given back to the community. Plus we are able to keep more items OUT of the landfills.
Guidelines for the Recycling Program:
- We will take stained, torn, missing buttons etc pieces of clothing. It would greatly help if these were bagged together, put in a marked garbage bag identified as “Recycling”. This way our volunteers can spend their time sorting clothing that is in sale-able condition.
- Soft stuffed animals that are all bagged together and garbage bag is identified as “Recycling”.
- Belts and purses that are all bagged together and garbage bag is identified as “Recyling”.
- Shoes that are worn, missing ties, missing mates that are all bagged together and garbage bag is identified as “Recycling”.
- Linens which include blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, curtains, etc that are torn or stained that are all bagged together and garbage bag is identified as “Recycling”.
We cannot accept items that are wet or have mold or mildew.
